Pioneer Cemetery

Originally buried around 1847 when the Salt Lake Valley was first settled, these 32 souls, (Nine adults and twenty-three infants and children.), were lost to time until July 6th 1986. After careful exhumation and testing for authenticity as well for more insight as to why they died and how they lived, they were laid to rest upon this hill on Memorial Day of 1987.
